Here are some of the honest to goodness negative experiences we usually encounter during our travel, you can share your experience too, so it could serve as a warning to other future travelers on a particular tourist spots.

Traumatic Experience as an Alleged DRUG TRAFFICKER in Bali Indonesia.
My Office-mate and her friend was allegedly accused of drug trafficking at the Immigration in Indonesia on their way to Bali.
It’s sad when we Filipinos are being profiled as one of those drug traffickers because of what other fellow Citizens have done.
I totally agree with them that what they’ve experienced was extremely traumatic. I have seen with my very eyes the way an immigration harasses a Filipino Citizen just by asking questions in a really really loud voice and very very furious manner on our way to Malaysia. And me myself almost did not make it through the medical scanner on my way to Hong Kong because they suspected me for carrying an H1N1 virus. Indeed it was so petrifying when I was called for a double check, well what more if you were accused of carrying illegal drugs knowing that you are about to face Jail outside the country instead of a summer getaway.

Beware of hold-uppers, pickpockets, snatcher and other modus operandi.
Believe it or not they’re pretty much active now in Makati City especially near Guadalupe and even along Ayala EDSA near the MRT. I was robbed last May 13, 2011 8PM. They took my half month salary and my Sony Cybershot.
If people you don’t know would approach you, please ignore them and immediately look if there’s a police or security guard in close proximity. These gangs are even active along the malls and pickpockets might hit you along stairs, escalators or elevators. Avoid crowded areas. Be alert inside the bus, MRT and MRT Lines.
Hold-uppers and snatchers usually rides scooter bike by twos… just a precaution… don’t come near them if you don’t have business with them anyway and always be alert when you’re on foot along the sidewalk.
This is not a fright message but a warning for you to be watchful all the time. Don’t be so positive that you’re safe in Makati. Well just like what you are supposed to do anywhere you are, always be alert and don’t bring to much cash.
