What is Palabok Express

Palabok Express...

Palabok as it is called pertains to one of Filipino’s unique delicacy. It is a local favorite miki noodles topped with small crabs, spices, cornstarch sauce, tinapa (fish) flakes, shrimp, squid, pork chicharon, hardboiled eggs, cabbage, tofu, kalamansi, patis, monosodium glutamate, and some other stuff that would fit your taste and imagination. In short, Palabok as a term pertains to mixed stuff on different variant in order to create one delicious and nutritious meal.
I choose Palabok as an analogy to my site because this site… just like Palabok consists of different stuff on different aspects of life, patriotism, religious, rebellious, arts, science, technology, film, music, social studies… you name it! There’s actually no boundaries at all.
Palabok Express… “express” on the other hand means fast, because we all know that social networking through internet is the fastest and effective way to communicate worldwide. Express can also mean expression. “Express yourself expressly!” But there’s a warning… as the Bible said in Psalm 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. ” Let’s use our tongue wisely, but in this case we’re actually using our fingers to speak, nevertheless the logic is same let’s speak up, express ourselves with wisdom and love (cheesy but true), not taking advantage of the technology that we currently have in order to poison the mind of others. Let’s serve Palabok to the world but let us be careful on what we’re putting on it.
Okay, now what’s the focus of this site? Well let’s just say that my main goal is to Entertain at the same time Educate on any which way I can “Palabok style” so it’s got to be yummy and at the same time healthy, enriched with assorted ingredients while unified in one tasty treat. And lastly, I also want to learn from you, you can also share your own Palabok with me. So feel free to comment, after all… Yes! it’s free! But on the other hand it might cost you your dignity.

    Dear Romi,

this is Stefan from Germany. I saw one of Your videos on Youtube, a 10minute record of the inside of the 3D-Cinema in the “city of dreams” in Macao. Did You record it Yourself? It’s nice. I’m working in a German Laser Company, we do all sorts of work using laserlight as a tool (welding, harding, cladding). In 2008 I was the logistic manager for the screen You recorded in Macao. Actually I know every particle of the screen, I would like to ask my boss, if he is interested to put Your video on our website. It would be a nice representation of what we are able to construct and built. Would You send me the video in a file, so we can put it on our home-server? It would be a nice gesture. You can surely leave Your logo/name in the right upper corner.

    Best wishes, Stefan

      Hi Stefan,

Yes I took the shot during our trip to Macao last Aug. 2010. I would be so proud to share this awesome production most especially to people like you who understand and appreciate the beauty of futuristic shows… and yeah there’s no problem on my side sharing with you the video file but I’m afraid 156MB couldn’t fit on email. Yet you might want to try downloading the video by going into this site http://downloader9.com/ and pasting this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqHuoBTS7gA on the form. The full resolution is 1280×720 and the file format is MP4.
If that won’t work, I might try to send it to you later on YouSendit.Com.

Thanks for viewing and have a nice day!

And by the way, congratulations on the success of this jaw dropping production :-) It’s an honor for me getting in touch with the person behind it.
